Electronic Repair
First and foremost this is the home of BOB CARVER, so why would you send it anyplace else? Second, we provide service and repair for Carver, Sunfire, Phase Linear and all vintage and new vacuum tube audio equipment!
We provide expert electronic repair and modifications on most Carver and Sunfire legacy products. Carver Audio Service also offers:

- We have several technicians with over 50 years of combined electronic repair and design experience working under BOB CARVER.
- Four component level test benches equipped with all necessary meters, oscilloscopes, and Audio Precision Analyzers
Your repaired unit will meet or EXCEED the original factory specs!
Extensive Amplifier Testing
Upon completing all repairs and modifications, each power amplifier we service receives:
- Minimum of a 72 hr burn-in period.
- Each amplifier channel is loaded with a static non-inductive 4 Ohm load.
- Program material is provided to drive each channel to a minimum of 30% of rated output power.
- Minimum one-hour critical listening test.
- Static non-inductive 8 Ohm loads in conjunction with 8 Ohm loudspeakers are used to verify sonic integrity.
Your unit is once again tested on an Audio Precision Analyzer to ensure:
- THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise)
- frequency response
- full rated output power, and all other criteria to meet or exceed factory specification
